These coins are part of the Perth Mint's Lunar series, which honours the Chinese Lunar calendar. 2023 marks the Year of the Rabbit, and the design of the coin features the animal on the front. The front of each coin features a Rabbit hopping in the grass. The word 'Rabbit' is written in both Chinese and English on the coin, and the year of minting, 2023, features at the bottom of the coin.
The reverse side of the coin features an image of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. The words 'Elizabeth II' and 'Australia' appear at the top of the coin. The bottom of the coin depicts important information about the coin, including its purity of 9999, its weight of 1/10 ounce, and finally its face value.
