Description

The 1 ounce 2022 gold eagle coin is a fine bullion coin with a classic touch. The front of the coin bears an image of an aggressive-looking eagle on the left profile. The front is also inscribed with the country of origin, the face value, and the weight. The words “E PLURIBUS UNUM” and “IN GOD WE TRUST” are also inscribed on the obverse.

The back of the 2022 gold eagle bears a modern image of lady liberty. She is depicted holding a flaming torch on her right and an olive branch on her left. Her left foot rests on a rock. Behind lady liberty there’re is an inscription of a rising sun on Capitol Hill. The reverse is also inscribed with the year of manufacture on the bottom right. The word “LIBERTY” is inscribed above the lady’s head. A ring of stars runs around the edge of the coin.
