The silver Valcambi combibar features 10 x 10 gram silver bullion bars, which can be broken off from one another.
What is a Combibar
The combibar bars was released by Valcambi in the midst of the European financial crisis of 2011-2012. The idea behind this bar is that it is the same size as a credit card, and can fit into a wallet. In the event of a fiscal breakdown or economic collapse, individuals could break off smaller pieces of the precious metal and use them in an emergency in place of cash. Valcambi issues combibars in gold, silver, platinum and palladium. Silver bars are available in both 1 gram and 10 gram denominations.
Design of the Combibar
Each individual bar on the 10 gram Combibar features the words 'Valcambi suisse', with the bar's weight of 10g, and its purity of 999 beneath. The Swiss hallmark for Valcambi is located at the bottom.
The reverse side of each bar features the Valcambi logo at the top, with the words 999.0 silver located beneath. The reverse Valcambi is one of Switzerland's most prominent precious metals refineries.
These bars do not have serial numbers, however, they do come with a certificate. The Combibar is available in gold, silver, platinum and palladium.
